Learn to connect their messages

One card is a word. Together, they tell you more. Look at the combination and find the reading that fits the situation.

The 36 Lenormand cards

A quick guide to the symbols. Their specific meaning depends on the question and neighbouring cards.

Your game and notebook are saved in this browser, separately from your tarot games. This is a learning game, not a personal reading.

Learn Lenormand is a game for practising pairs and three-card lines. Look at the symbols, read the situation and choose the interpretation that connects the cards best. After answering, you will see how the reading is built and why an incorrect choice does not fit.

From a word to a short story

In Petit Lenormand, neighbouring cards modify a symbol’s meaning. The Rider and the Letter, for example, let you practise news arriving in writing. Adding the Sun may point the exercise towards a message that brings clarity.

The question matters: the Ring can mean a romantic bond or a contract, depending on context. Each exercise therefore gives a specific situation. The marked answer is the best fit among that exercise’s options, not the only possible meaning of those cards.

Two modes, 72 exercises

The bank includes all 36 Lenormand cards and situations involving love, work, home, news, learning and decisions. Each combination has its own written alternatives and explanations, not randomly assembled phrases.

Choose 10 questions, 20 or free practice. Correct answers earn 100 points. There is no timer or daily limit. Free practice goes through the chosen mode’s bank before reshuffling; it does not generate unlimited new exercises. Hints show the cards’ keywords without any penalty.

Order and context

When an exercise describes a development, read from left to right. Sun → Clouds is not the same journey as Clouds → Sun: clarity may become clouded, or doubts may clear. Other lines combine a subject with two nuances. The question tells you what to look for.

The cards are upright. The Man and Woman identify the people introduced by the exercise; they do not automatically assign romance or a personality. This game does not use tarot reversals.

Pair reading is a common learning method, also explained by Learn Lenormand. Different schools exist; here the approach is consistent and each answer includes its reasoning.

Your notebook and unfinished games

The notebook keeps your practised combinations, explanations and results. Review mode gathers combinations with fewer than 75% correct answers. You can also revisit a finished game’s mistakes. If you leave midway, continue here or from Your games.
