An educational entertainment game based on symbolic tarot associations.

Odd Tarot Card Out helps you practise the relationships between tarot cards. Each round shows four cards: three share a connection, while one departs from the stated criterion. Your task is to find that card and understand how it changes the group.

Look for the connection, not a “bad” card

The odd card is not necessarily difficult or negative. What matters is the comparison: initiative, introspection, a rank, a suit or the direction of a reading. The same card can belong naturally in one group and be the odd one out in another.

For example, when the criterion is taking the initiative, The Magician, The Chariot and Strength share themes of resources, direction and self-mastery. The Hanged Man shifts that focus towards pausing and seeing things differently. That makes it the odd card in this group, without diminishing its value in other readings.

How to play

Choose a level and session length. Read the round’s criterion, compare the four cards and select the one that departs from it. The reveal explains which card was the odd one out, what connects the other three and why the fourth changes the relationship. Keywords appear after you answer.
