Your Astrological World Map

YOUR SKY, IN OTHER PLACES

What draws you to that place?

The sky at your birth draws paths around the world. Explore their symbolism and discover which ones pass near the cities that call to you.

Use the time shown in your birth record. A few minutes can move the lines by several kilometres.

How to read the map and how it is calculated

Astrocartography maps the places where each planet was rising (AC), setting (DC), or crossing the meridian at upper (MC) or lower (IC) culmination when you were born. MC and IC do not mean the planet was directly above or below your head.

We calculate ten bodies using their actual geocentric equatorial positions, including celestial latitude, not just their sign or zodiacal longitude. The map uses the geometric horizon, without refraction or terrain. Distances are measured on a spherical Earth to the line itself, not to an example city.

The date and time are converted to UTC using the chosen time zone. Skipped or repeated clock times require a check. Historical time records, especially before 1970, may be uncertain: verify your details for a precise study. The accuracy of the birth time limits that of the map.

Your birthplace resolves the local time and marks your origin. The same UTC instant produces the same world map. This is not a full relocated chart: it includes no aspects, parans or interpreted crossings.

Astrocartography: your birth chart across the world

Some cities spark your curiosity before you have ever visited. Astrocartography offers a symbolic way to explore that interest, using the planets at the moment of your birth. This map shows where those planets occupied the four main angles of the sky at that instant.

Enter your birth date, time and city to begin. Choose a theme — relationships, work or home — or select the planets you want to see. You do not need to know your natal chart to explore the map.

What do the planetary lines mean?

Each planet contributes a symbol, while the angle points to an area of experience. Venus relates to affection, taste and enjoyment. Its Descendant line emphasises relationships; its IC line turns those themes towards home and private life. The planet stays the same, but the perspective changes.

The map includes the Sun, Moon and eight planets from Mercury to Pluto, following astrological terminology: forty lines in total. Some look curved and others straight because a globe is being represented on a flat surface.

Compare two cities

Search for two cities or mark two points on the map. Each destination shows its three nearest lines, approximate distances and short interpretations. Select a line’s name to display it, even if a filter had hidden it.

There is no winning city or compatibility percentage. Jupiter does not guarantee prosperity, and Saturn does not make somewhere a bad destination. The symbols explore different themes, such as growth, commitment, creativity and independence. They are not a reason to decide on a move using only this map.

Why your birth time matters

Earth rotates while the planets move. A small time difference can shift the lines, so use the time recorded at birth. If you do not know it, entering noon as though it were accurate would give you a different map.

The calculator applies the selected place’s historical time zone. It flags clock times that were skipped or repeated. If your town is missing, enter its coordinates and time zone manually. Historical records, especially before 1970, can be uncertain.
