A spread built around the four elements
The Witch’s Circle divides the reading into four positions. Earth shows the practical foundation, Air the insight you need, Fire the action that can move things forward and Water the feeling working underneath.
You can choose a general, love, work or decision reading. Writing a question is optional: it keeps your situation visible during the spread, while the card interpretations adapt to the selected theme.
An original deck, not a reproduction
The commercial Witches Tarot was created by Ellen Dugan, illustrated by Mark Evans and published by Llewellyn. Its 78 cards combine pagan symbolism with the Rider-Waite-Smith structure.
This application does not reproduce that deck or its illustrations. It uses 22 Major Arcana created for Tarotsi, with original scenes drawn from nature, herbs, cycles and folk magic. The traditional card names remain familiar, but the artwork and the spread belong to this page.
How to read the circle
After shuffling, eight face-down cards appear. Choose four in the order shown. Each choice immediately takes its elemental position; when the circle is complete, the combined reading opens.
- Earth: what already exists and supports the situation.
- Air: the information or perspective you still need.
- Fire: the movement you can activate.
- Water: the feeling or need moving underneath.
The spread is generated entirely in your browser. Your question is not stored or sent to any external service. Starting again shuffles the deck into a new combination.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to write a question?
No. You can leave the field empty and choose only the theme.
Do the cards always appear in the same order?
No. Every reading shuffles all 22 Major Arcana and displays eight at random.
Does the spread use reversed cards?
No. The reading relies on each card’s elemental position, so reversed meanings are not needed.
