How to play

  1. 01Tap a tile next to the empty space.
  2. 02The tile will move into the free space.
  3. 03Rebuild the image in as few moves as possible.

A free game with no sign-up and no timer.

The Tarot Sliding Puzzle brings back the classic board with one empty space: each tile can move only into the neighbouring gap, and the image gradually returns as you find the right route.

Three sizes for the same challenge

Easy divides the image into a 3 × 3 grid with eight tiles. Normal uses the classic 4 × 4 format and fifteen tiles. Expert expands the board to 5 × 5, with twenty-four fragments and a single empty space.

A tarot card or your own photograph

You can play with a random arcana chosen from the 22 Major Arcana or the complete Rider-Waite deck. The full card is placed inside a square composition so that its frame and printed name are never cropped. Solving it reveals its name and three keywords.

You can also choose a photograph from your device, zoom it and position the crop. The image is prepared and divided into tiles entirely in your browser: it is not uploaded to the server, stored in an account or kept after you leave the page.

Every board can be solved

The game does not scatter the tiles without control. It begins with the completed board and performs hundreds of legal moves, so the resulting position is always solvable. There is no timer; the challenge is to rebuild the image in as few moves as possible.

Your best score is stored only in this browser and separately for each size and image source. The game uses no artificial intelligence, database or external requests.
