What is a tarot birth card?
A tarot birth card connects your date of birth with the archetypes of the 22 Major Arcana. Unlike a spread, chance is not involved: the same date always gives the same result. The reading does not try to define every detail of your character; it highlights currents that may accompany you throughout life.
The personality card describes how you meet the world, the resources you tend to show and the lessons experience places before you. The soul card is the inner root to which the first card reduces: a quieter motivation that helps explain why certain searches return.
How your cards are calculated
The app adds your birth day, month and full year, then reduces the digits until the result lies between 1 and 22. This is the personality card; if it has two digits, it is reduced again for the soul card. In the exceptional 19–10–1 sequence, the Wheel of Fortune remains as a bridge between the Sun and the Magician.
We follow Marseille order: VIII is Justice, XI is Strength and the Fool is treated as 22. Other schools split or reduce the date differently. This is a symbolic convention, not a scientific measurement, which is why the calculation remains visible.
Your annual card and seven-year line
The annual card replaces your birth year with the year being explored: day + month + selected year, reduced to 22 or less. Here each cycle follows the calendar year from January to December. The timeline includes the current year and the next six.
An annual card suggests a working theme and a useful question; it does not guarantee a specific event. The Tower may invite you to review a structure, not expect disaster. Death means transformation and closure, never a prediction of literal death.
Using the combination
Look first at what your cards share, then at the point where they disagree. One may call for action while the other asks for silence. That tension is not a flaw: it is often where the most fruitful learning appears.
The reading separates strengths, creative tension, learning and advice so the result becomes more than a list of meanings. Return to it around a birthday or the beginning of a project and notice which side of the combination you are living.
Privacy and responsible use
Your date is calculated entirely in the browser, cleared when the result appears and never sent to a database. The share image contains your card names but not your date of birth.
