Your personal year runs from birthday to birthday (day and month of birth + the year of your last birthday), the same convention our daily numerology uses. The personal month is the personal year plus the month number. There are no master numbers here: everything reduces to 1–9.
Numerology divides life into nine-year cycles, and each year of the cycle has its own number and its own weather: the 1 pushes you to start, the 5 stirs everything up, the 9 closes the circle. Knowing which personal year you are in is like checking the forecast before going out: it does not decide for you, but it helps you pick the right coat.
The calculation is simple, and here we use the same convention as our daily numerology: your personal year runs from birthday to birthday, adding your day and month of birth to the year of your last birthday and reducing the total to a digit from 1 to 9. That is why the app tells you exactly when your cycle begins and ends — and which number is waiting on the other side of the next birthday cake.
