Symbolic bibliomancy for entertainment purposes.
Bibliomancy means opening a book without looking for a particular page and reading the passage you find as a sign. This digital version preserves that gesture: bring a situation to mind, let the pages move and stop the book whenever you choose.
You do not need to write down your question. Keep it in mind, hold the book and release when the moment feels right. The opening chooses a page and one of its three lines. Read the sentence first without its interpretation and notice which part of your situation it touches.
The app does not attribute invented sentences to authors or mix quotations taken out of context. It uses an original collection of eight symbolic volumes: The Threshold, The Mirror, The Thread, The Scales, The River, The Flame, The Mist and The Seed. Each contains six pages, and each page has three possible lines, creating 144 reading points.
The result shows the complete page so the sentence keeps its context. It then gives the line’s key, explains what it may be showing and suggests one small action for today. It does not decide for you; it offers another angle from which to look at a situation.
The choice takes place entirely in your browser and requires no registration. Use it as a symbolic practice for reflection and entertainment.
