Runic Tarot

Each culture has its own particular form of divination. The runic alphabet was first used by shamans and tribal chiefs to predict the weather, the outcome of battles or simply the best attitude to adopt in a situation.

Runes signify mystery and peace, they are used as an alphabet that allows man a connection with divinity. There are 24 in total, plus the white rune, which represents destiny. The runes are divided into three groups that represent three families of eight runes. The Teutonic shamans mastered the art of guessing the alphabet and orally transmitting these purely divinatory predictions to their people, long before any form of writing was developed.
